INTERMEDIATE MMAThis is the second step of our structured MMA program, students apply their understanding of the fundamental MMA concepts gained through our Beginners MMA class.
Basic techniques are then covered more in-depth. How the 3 component disciplines of MMA (Striking, BJJ, Wrestling) interact and affect each other is covered in more detail, and students are able to apply their understanding to advanced drilling and controlled sparring. At this point, you will be given the option of having your first Amateur fights in our 'Amateur inter club MMA competitions.' You should also be attending the 12.00pm Saturday MMA sparring session as well as adding in regular Muay Thai, Wrestling and BJJ sessions. You will also begin to start working in with the Advanced MMA team and some of the Adrenaline fighters. You should also be regularly attending the Saturday sparring session at 12.00pm. These classes run for 1 hour FAQ: How do I know if I'm Beginner, Intermediate or Advanced? -We usually ask that all new students at least do 1 class in the Beginners MMA. From there our head coach will direct you on what classes to regularly undertake. If you strongly believe you are above Beginner level, please come down to an MMA sparring session Saturdays at 12.00pm. I'm Happy training and have no real desire to compete, is this a problem? -If you do want to compete, great, but you will never be pressured into fighting. INTERMEDIATE MMA INSTRUCTORS
