Wrestling

Wrestling is an ancient olympic sport involving grappling techniques such as clinches, throws, takedowns and pins. Wrestling techniques have been incorporated into many practical martial arts, combat sports and military systems. The objective of wrestling is to take your opponent to the ground and hold their shoulders flat on the mat (also known as pinning). 

At Adrenaline MMA we pride ourselves on our wrestling lineage. Classes are led by Head Coach Cris Brown, who attended 5 Olympic games as a freestyle wrestler, captured the Australian National Titles 16 times and won the US Open. Cris very well may be the most accomplished wrestler to have ever been born on Australian soil so its no surprise that wrestling is one of the most popular classes among our member base.
